Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish! I was born and raised in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico, la Isla del Encanto! TN became my second home. I have 2 amazing children that are the love of my life. I love to teach and introduce my students to another language that can help them to open doors, believing that another language creates a bridge of opportunities in the future!
I have experience as a Spanish teacher in Puerto Rico, Nashville and Clarksville. Working as translator and with the Security System Offices in Juvenile, Civil and Criminal Court Houses. I have a Bachelor Degree in Spanish Education, a minor in early childhood and a Master Degree in Criminal Justice. I'm always working with the youth population and reaching milestones together! Every thing that my students learn I relearn it with them, which is super excited! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE MOVIE COCO? My class is the same excited, full of cultural knowledge in a family atmosphere! 😉

School operational Hours

Regular Day: 7:20 AM to 2:15 PM
Half Day: 7:20 AM to 10:50 AM
Early Release: 12:00 PM

Class materials required for Spanish class are:

  • notebook (spiral 70 pages is great)
  • binder
  • pencils
  • color or highlighters 
  • index card
  • laptop

In my class we use computers as well with the IXL program, GIMKIT, QUIZZIZ, Duolingo and Google Classroom.

The classroom will follow all the CMCSS and MCMS guidelines and protocols to guaranty the students are healthy and safe and their learning journey don't get affected.

Classroom Expectations:

  • Be on time
  • Laptop has to be charge.
  • Be respectful with the teacher and peers.
  • Late assignment needs an excuse.
  • Be patient, learn another language required time and effort.
