I am one of the school counselors for Montgomery Central Middle school. I moved to Clarksville in 2021, started with CMCSS school district in 2022 and came over to Montgomery Central Middle School in 2023. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Loma Linda University and previously worked as an inpatient adolescent therapist. One of my professional goals has been to inspire students to recognize and reach their highest academic and personal potential.

What is a school counselor? 

A school counselor is a master’s level certified, trained, and caring professional who works with all students, parents, teachers, staff and the community, in order for every student to achieve academic and social success.

Students that are seen through the counseling department are afforded the following confidentiality parameters: 

What is said in the counseling office, remains in the counseling office with the exception of: 

  1. Express harm to self. 
  2. Express harm to others. 
  3. Express others have harmed them. 
  4. Student gives permission to share information.
