I grew up in Upper Michigan. I moved to Clarksville in 1994, and I have loved it here ever since! I am married and have five four-legged children. I received my undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University in 1998. I received my graduate degree from Grand Canyon University in 2005. I am currently working on my dissertation and should have my EDD at the beginning of 2024. I have been teaching for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System for twenty-three years: eight at Glenellen Elementary, twelve at Cumberland Heights Elementary, and three years as academic coach at Montgomery Central Middle School. I have taught third, fourth and fifth grades! My hobbies are reading, movies, traveling, cooking, and home improvements.
